PERSONAL DATA APPLICATION FORM

Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) has granted personal data owners the right to be informed about personal data related to them, to access this data, to learn whether it is used for their purposes and to make certain requests such as requesting their correction or deletion.

Pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 13 of the KVKK; Events Turkey (hereinafter referred to as "our Company"), which is the data controller, is required to submit the applications to be made regarding these rights in writing via this Personal Data Owner Application Form or other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board ("Board").

It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and up-to-date. For this reason, please notify us when a change occurs in your personal data. In this context, applications to be made to our Company "in writing" shall be made by printing out this form;

- By the applicant's application in person or by mail,

- Through a notary,

- Signed by the applicant with the "secure electronic signature" defined in the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070 and sent to the registered e-mail address of our Company,

- By using the e-mail address previously notified to our Company by the relevant person and registered in our Company's system,will be forwarded to us.

The aforementioned application channels have been prepared as a guide in order to finalize the requests quickly, and the application options within the scope of Article 5 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller will also be evaluated.

 

Application Right

Pursuant to Article 11 of the LPPD, anyone whose personal data is processed may apply to our Company as mentioned above and make requests regarding the following issues:

 

- To learn whether their personal data is being processed or not,

- Request information if their personal data has been processed,

- Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether personal data is used in accordance with its purpose,

- To learn the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,

- To request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,

- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring the processing of personal data disappear and to notify third parties to whom personal data is transferred,

- To object to the occurrence of a result to the detriment of the person concerned by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

- In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, to demand the compensation of the damage.

Pursuant to Article 28 of the LPPD, it will not be possible for personal data owners to assert their application rights since the following cases are excluded from the scope of the LPPD:

- Processing of personal data for purposes such as research, planning and statistics by anonymizing them with official statistics.

- Processing of personal data for artistic, historical, literary or scientific purposes or within the scope of freedom of expression, provided that it does not violate national defense, national security, public security, public order, economic security, privacy of private life or personal rights or does not constitute a crime.

- Processing of personal data within the scope of preventive, protective and intelligence activities carried out by public institutions and organizations authorized by law to ensure national defense, national security, public security, public order or economic security.

- Processing of personal data by judicial authorities or enforcement authorities in relation to investigation, prosecution, trial or execution procedures.

Pursuant to paragraph 2 of Article 28 of the LPPD, except for the right to claim compensation for damages, it is not possible to assert rights in the following cases:

- Processing of personal data is necessary for the prevention of crime or criminal investigation.

- Processing of personal data made public by the data subject himself/herself.

- Processing of personal data is necessary for the execution of supervisory or regulatory duties or disciplinary investigation or prosecution by authorized public institutions and organizations and professional organizations in the nature of public institutions based on the authority granted by law.

- Personal data processing is necessary for the protection of the economic and financial interests of the State in relation to budget, tax and financial matters.

Requests that may be addressed by the Related Person

According to Article 11 of the KVKK, the rights you can request from our Company, which is the data controller, are specified. Your applications submitted to us will be evaluated within our company according to the rights you have requested and will be responded as soon as possible and within 30 (Thirty) days at the latest from the date your request reaches us according to the nature of the request in accordance with Article 13/2 of the KVKK. In accordance with Article 13/3 of the Law, our response will be sent to you in writing or electronically.

The Procedure and Duration of Our Company's Response to Applications

In accordance with Article 13 of the KVKK, our Company will finalize the application requests made by the data subject within 30 (thirty) days at the latest with the method appropriate to the nature of the request.

As stated in Article 7 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller; In case of a written response, no fee is charged up to ten pages. However, a transaction fee of 1 Turkish Lira may be charged for each page over ten pages.

Relevant Person's Right to File a Complaint to the Board

Pursuant to Article 14 of the LPPD, the data subject may file a complaint to the PDP Board within thirty days from the date on which he/she learns the response of the data controller and in any case within sixty days from the date of application in cases where his/her application is rejected, the response is insufficient or the application is not responded in due time.

A complaint to the Board will not be possible without applying to our Company.

Other Matters

Our Company may request additional information from the relevant person in order to determine whether the applicant is the relevant person and may ask questions to the relevant person about the application in order to clarify the issues in the application of the relevant person.
